Waiting .....

A day of less showers.
Sent 2 off to start hauling wheat straw home while I went next door to help wee brother tag calves.
Mr M and crew back fitting the new cattle slats.
A 27 ton load of cow rolls arrived in at lunch time so muggins here had to empty it. It’s a sign of the times that a load of feed that will not even last till Christmas is worth nearly as much as the acre of trees we cut down during the summer which took 30 years to grow !
More grain drying and filling bins this afternoon then a trip to Haddington to hand in the VAT stuff to the CA.
Mutly here spotted my boots on the stairs and knew I was going out. He was under the impression that he was getting to go too ! Nae luck !
