Passing of the Years

A week living with Jamie in Una's old house as stirred up memories and made me aware of the passing years.   Twenty seven since these sugar flowers adorned our wedding cake.  All Una's work, the whole basket only four inches across!   This week Jamie has made a Christmas Cake using Una's recipe so that she will have one to share with visitors in a few months time.  In due course he plans to ice it under her direction on a visit to the care home.

An anniversary this week.  It's forty years since I moved to Norwich and started at UEA.   Passing through there this week the freshers look so young :-/
