Quendale Beach

A rather wild autumnal day - with lots of rain and strong easterly winds.

The walk along the beach with the wind behind me was fine, the return was rather less pleasant particularly since the heavy rain started just as I turned.  Every item of clothing was wet by the time I got back (with the exception of my socks) which suggests that while my boots are ready for a Shetland autumn my waterproofs probably aren't.
