Stuck in the lift

First thing this morning lift stopped working about two inches off the ground floor. I got a chair and climbed in and tried to open it that way. Started to think about calling the fire brigade when I remembered I could use a knife in a special hole just for this purpose. Huge relief. A choking Big Fish stuck in a lift is one of my worst nightmares. Then a phone call to the council when they opened at 8.30am and it was fixed by 1.40pm and I even managed to ride in between!
