The eternal misery of Bank Street
With the metronomic rhythm of a clock ticking towards the inevitable onset of white, Autumn arrived (or Fall, if you are that way inclined). (And as "autumnal" is one of my favourite words - and Fall Equinox means bugger all - I'll stick with Autumn if you don't mind.)
And with the arrival of Autumn, summer just buggered off and was replaced by rain. This picture was taken around 9 o'clock in the morning, I think, and was as bright as it got all day.
So I went home and sulked.
