Sit Down and Tell Me All About It

All facets of veterinary practice experienced today; routine, strange, worrying, puppies, geriatrics, sensitive safety issues, hilarity, and a sad home visit to say a final farewell to a long-standing and very lovely patient.
By the time I got home I felt drained and just a wee bit grumpy.
When I went upstairs to get changed, I found Finn enjoying his home comforts.
He addressed me with a chirrup and a head-bop before settling down beside me and purring incredibly loudly.
I felt my blood pressure drop.
Cats are just wonderful!
