Castle Combe
We spent time going through drawers and wardrobes this morning , had lunch and then decided to go on a little jaunt.
Castle Combe is 40 minutes away and is approached via villages such as Tiddleywink and Kents Bottom. We sniggered at both signposts.
It began to rain heavily as we parked and then there is a downhill walk to the village. So we waited 20 minutes for the rain to turn to drizzle.
Castle Combe is a very picturesque and we were lucky that only a few people were visiting.
My photography was hampered by a group of people photographing a Japanese couple wearing kilts. (extra) It was a bit bizarre; sometimes the couple were marching in unison whilst being photgraphed and then they were arranged in romantic, engagement type poses. There was even a make up cum hairdressing lady tweeking them between shots.
