Greeting Friends Twice in one Day

M and I went to the cinema this afternoon to watch Downton.  As soon as the music started it felt like I was about to greet old friends once more.  I thought the second part of the film was much more exciting than the first, but I thoroughly enjoyed it all!
We greeted our friends J and W in the evening, they had been having a holiday in Blakeney, so M, B and I joined them for dinner at the Blakeney Hotel, just as the last light of the day was fading.
We very much enjoyed their excellent company and a chance to catch up on all our news, accompanied by some delicious food and wine...a lovely end to our day.
