Oma & Opa

I love this photo, it's only a little one but it shows my Oma & Opa who lived in Wesel, Germany. I remember Opa as a lovely smiley person who always cheated at Canasta, wore braces and who had grass snakes in his garden pond! He died when I was quite young. I knew Oma for longer and I remember her asking me if I had a mirror when I was driving and then thinking it was funny ( it was) when I was really talking about a church I was doing a concert in but pronounced it as cherries... Kirche & Kirsch.... :)
