Skittish Snipes

I got my first DSLR for Christmas from Mum and Dad and wanted to try it out so I brought it on a walk on New years day at Whitstable in Kent. These Snipe were sitting on the beach and I tried to get as close as possible. They were very alert so flew away and I managed to get this shot as they flew off.
