Almost Gotcha'

My Frenchies are rarely the winner in their competition with squirrels.
Their greatest success to date (that I've witnessed) is frightening one into falling off the fence into the neighbor's yard.
Today they managed to totally intimidate this squirrel while it attempted to carry an acorn across the battlefield.
The Frenchies rushed to each side of the squirrel up on the fence causing the squirrel to flatten out, convinced that his escape had been cut off (though he could easily have continued to run down the fence top).
The standoff lasted 30 seconds or so until the Frenchies broke ranks and began barking allowing the squirrel to make good his escape.
