Say Hello to Harris

It's getting increasingly difficult to take a decent close up photograph of Harris. As an older gentleman, he hangs his head down and very rarely looks up at me. So to get this shot, I was lying down!

Anyway, I hope you like it - say hello to Harris, our Scottie / Westie cross.

We walked the grounds of the UEA (University of East Anglia) today, another favourite place of ours. This is a great public place to walk dogs. A mixture of sports pitches, woodlands, river walks and broads.

Dog walking at the UEA is very popular and so today's walk was full of meeting and greeting. Harris usually enjoys this, especially if we meet black Labradors - he loves them!

Amongst the many dogs we met, were two gorgeous collies. They were lovely, but one of them was far too exuberant for our Little Man! At 15 years, Harris has seen and done it all before and he was going to take no nonsense from this youngster! Fragile and unsteady as he is on his feet, Harris soon told this collie where to go (in the nicest possible way of course!)
