Ambleside Blipmeet

Tryfan46 organised a blipmeet in Ambleside today. He and his wife, Sue, had brought their friend on holiday with them and LooseCanon and Technophobe were also up on holiday.

We met up in the Apple Pie for morning coffee and were joined by DerwentLass and Valerie12, then intothehills and fairweathergirl. We set off to walk up a steep path from the town to High Sweden bridge. I was in the company of mountain leaders and Wainwright walkers, I could hardly manage and begged them not to wait for me (but they did, time and time again!). I got thoroughly wet in spite of wearing a long mac.

By the time we got back down to Zefferelli's for lunch it was after 2pm. Fastaperture and SueMiddleton were waiting to join us.
