Autumnal

Walking Bailey this evening in the almost dark, with leaves on the ground, having changed out of skirt and school shoes into my jeans and boots, it felt distinctly like Autumn had arrived. 

My day was mainly spent in two lengthy meetings and a third, shorter one in the middle. The start of the day was a little more fraught than usual with us hosting a meeting that I usually just attend elsewhere (which meant no lie-in this time around). 

My hair appointment was cancelled at the end of the day - postponed until Friday - which meant that there was no early escape. I'm hoping I'll have more success on that tomorrow.
