Hitching a ride

Trip into Lincoln this morning for hair appointments. It was pouring with rain, good for the garden, but not for shopping.

I noticed this snail on the car when when we parked and it was still there when we got home. It did well to stay on for the ride.

I got a WhatsApp message this afternoon from R to say that the group have all successfully summitted Mount Kilimanjaro and are now back to base. All very pleased with their achievement. She was looking forward to a shower, first wash for a week!!!

I can now relax. It doesn’t matter how old your children are, as a mum you will always worry about them.
