Ringing the changes

Blipping makes you notice things. I walk or run along the seafront almost every day, but I've only just spotted a string of silver bells wrapped round one of the benches. There is a card attached to them dated Christmas 2012 and some words dedicated to Dearest Edward. As the card came from Cancer Research I wonder if Edward passed away at that time of year. Whatever the story, it was a touching sight to come across as the light faded this afternoon.
