Stipa gigantica.

I was walking down the brae and chose a path through the cemetery, rather than the noisy roadside footpath. I had seen the Stipa before, but until today had not had a close look. There are several of them , giving a change from the now rather weathered memorial stonework.The common name for the Stipa is Golden Oats.
