It's persisting it!

Rain , rain and more rain. Fletch went into hibernation mode. Sat waiting for a parcel to arrive " sometime between 1 and 2 o'clock. Then we all set to take Fletch out for a walk and the rain turned torrential. Waited a while but it rained all the way round.. despite his rain jacket Fletch looked like a drowned rat... so it made sense to bath him when we got back. Dunked him into the bath only to realise we'd run  out of his dog shampoo so he now smells of my Aussie shampoo. 
As it was such a wet day I decided it'd be a good day to tidy out the cupboards.. if not very exciting.. although it was interesting to see what was buried at the back. 
Fletch is now back asleep. He had his mad half hour while he raced round the living room trying to dry off .
I put the news on before then switched it off.. it really is too depressing.. I see a Netflix night beckoning.
Photo is out of the bedroom window. The maple in the pot is starting to get its golden Autumn colour. My lawn is looking depressingly patchy.
