Pipe

Marmaduke tried his new smoking pipe out (Christmas present from moi) in the daytime in the garage. Pipes make you look wise. After an early dinner we took a train up to London to Emma's (amazing and amazingly-decorated) flat for New Years. I only knew Emma, Chloe and Chloe's boyfriend Chris there, but there were also Emma's other flatmates and their friends from home, so there were a fair amount of people. We did mass drinking games which didn't work so well, and ate lots of party rings before heading up to Primrose Hill for a far-away-but-clear-and-less-crowded view of the London fireworks, which were amazing - and which we maybe only fully appreciated when watching it back on TV the next morning. The party post-midnight dragged a little bit though as, despite promising we'd stay up til 5am, I think I'm too old (pfft) now, was ready for bed closer to 2 :\
