Coming Out
This is the Amaryllis flower we were given for Christmas. We could almost watch it grow, it has now stopped going up and is now about to flower. Dank miserable day = in side blip (I can't really do another cobweb with water droplets).
The name Amaryllis is taken from a shepherdess in Virgil's pastoral Eclogues, from the Greek word amarysso meaning "to sparkle". So you have a sparkle flower to follow a sparkly web.
Many thanks for the views, comments and stars for yesterday; the cobweb made the spotlight and I am really pleased.
