Snails with attitude!

It is said that plants can be protected from snails by surrounding them with sharp grit.
This little fellow crawling up our conservatory wall which is harled in sharp Skye marble seems oblivious to amy pain!
Our snails (and slugs) also crawl in gay abandon across the copper bands that are meant to stop them in their tracks!
