Snapchat smiles

An early day to get to the hospital, we spoke with the consultant late afternoon with the news of how bad things really are she has many metastasis in the brain area which has explained her poor speech and frustration with not doing the simplest of things . Steroids are making this better for her . The lump on her side is stemmed from a breast cancer she had many years ago and they have found a mass on her hip . We are getting her house ready for her to come home and she has a holiday to go to Friday with her son and wife in a cottage in Norfolk. The consultant said this will be good for her and us to be together as this will probably be the last time it will happen and as long as we can manage her care he is happy she goes . We have decisions to make as a family as she can have radiotherapy but there is a chance it will make her lose her memory as one mass is near that memory area of the brain , if this is what she decides it will be a hard sad time for us all too cope with . I have decided to go away with them to boost her up and get her as active as we can if she should decide the treatment. She needs to walk at least 50 yards on her own before they will start treatment. Sadly if all goes well it won’t give her much more time but we will see . I’m so happy she loves Snapchat as even in the saddest moments we laugh .
