Half the world away

Today we flew from Auckland to Boston. The flight was split into two, the first was a fifteen hour flight to Chicago, the second was a couple of hours to Boston. The flight was straightforward, Chicago was stressful thanks to having to rush through the airport to a different terminal and having to deal with a particularly miserable border patrol officer and Boston was good as always but late and quiet. We headed from Logan airport on a free shuttle to south station and then caught an Uber to our friends. We got their late arriving at about 1:45 in the morning, showered and hit the hay. Overall it was a good trip but the time zones and experiencing 4 seasons in 2 months has kind of thrown us a little. Will leave it here for now.
