Pixies

I last saw the Pixies in 1991. Scarborough Futurist Theatre. Me, the Pixies and about 20 other people. I worked with a woman whose husband worked in the record industry. Jane came over one afternoon and said that Pete had heard about this secret warm up gig. So four of us bundled into her mini and drove to Scarborough. Of course it’s a long time ago, and my memory is hazy, but it remains my favourite gig of all time. Somewhere I still have the set list and one of the drum sticks.

Anyway, the crowd tonight was bigger.
