Neighbour Power!

Several months ago one of our neighbours was disturbed by someone rooting around at the back of her house.  She saw him off but was understandably shaken by the experience, so we decided to set up a WhatsApp group so that neighbours could share information and respond with help if needed.

Thankfully, we haven't had to use it to see off ne'er do wells since but it has been used to welcome new folks to our street and to provide assistance with a variety of things.  Tonight I put out a request for help to move our living room carpet.  Tony and I struggled to roll it up and there was no way we could have moved it downstairs.  Within minutes we had a team!  Thank you neighbours, Tunnocks all round!
