Is autumn really here!

I do hope so. Certainly it’s cooler today. Oh and raining.
I started the day with some food shopping then just had a quick look at M&S’s selection of jeans. Very pleased to see that that they have a lovely pair of stretch high waisted straight jeans. Being picky I’d prefer slim but certainly not skinny. But these fitted perfectly so had to buy. They just might be a tad too long in which case I’ll get the scissors out and the stylish frayed edge will happen.
There were no walks I fancied so I had a day reading about Alderney’s Occupation. Still not really widely talked about. One book simply skirted around the concentration camp. I am now reading the account of a Todt Worker in Alderney which was available on kindle.
