Everyday I Write The Book

By Eyecatching

The more things change ...

.. the more they stay the same. Let’s be honest if you went back in a time machine and showed this to someone from 1959, they would be disappointed and unimpressed. Even the cars look recognisable and boxy. Not a silver suit or robot to be seen. Traditional clothes in shop windows, bicycles on railings and even a woman wearing a hat. That’s a big difference. In the old days people wore hats much more - proper hats, trilbys and stuff.

We were in Richmond as part of TSM’s rehabilitation. Much better than Saturday, we had a walk along the river and a toodle around the shops. She was tired but happy come the end, definitely getting better and losing the effects of being post-op. We bought cake with about-to-expire vouchers from The Hummingbird Bakery and healthier stuff in Wholefoods. Then came home, with a sense of good timing, just as it started to rain.

Good day.
