Here we have our big nursery girl, all ready to head off to nursery for the very first time!

She was SO excited throughout the morning, she was pretty much ready to go from the moment she opened her eyes. It wasn't start time until 12.15...

So the morning dragged, of course! Every two minutes I was asked ''Is it time to go to nursery yet?''

Then it was time! We practically hopped, skipped and jumped our way to nursery (thankfully it isn't too far away!) and I stayed for 10 minutes chatting to her key worker (who seems lovely) before I gave her a big hug and kiss and said goodbye.

...And that was it! No tears from Amelie, no tears from Mummy!

I've just phoned them to make sure she is okay and she's been absolutely fine. She is playing with the dolls with another little girl.

1 hour and 30 minutes left of peace and quiet for today, better make the most of it!
