Change of Plan.

First thing, my carefully made plans for the day disappeared out the window.

After resolving the fairly serious problem which had arisen, I was rewarded with a surprise ticket to hear and see Alexander McCall Smith at the Bloody Scotland book festival.

Laughter and Joy throughout the whole proceedings, followed by an opportunity to discuss Auchtermuchty and Jimmy Shand with him.

I was born in Auchtermuchty. Yes it does exist. And Jimmy Shand, a favourite of Alexander lived there.
