Sea of Cloud and Les Dents du Midi Floating in it.

The Villars' cemetry wall defines the foreground of this panorama; not a bad winter view when you are dead and buried - for your mourners that is. We used to live above this sea of cloud but now we live under it and are experiencing the grey underbelly of the clouds for the first time this winter. I was awed by the sheer drama of this as I drove out of the fog this morning so had to stop the car on "cemetry bend".
