We bought this chair some twenty years ago as new. Life happened, and the fabric has been worn out, stained, painted and what not, for some time now. This weekend I had plenty of good time for a repair & reuse project.
Light green - old upholstery, stitches ripped, fabric washed (bad idea, it did shrink quite a bit), turned inside out i.e. clean side out, and stitched again.
Medium green - new fabric to replace all worn out parts of the old upholstery that were not reusable.
Dark green - new fabric to cover patches where additional fabrics were needed.
Took me all day to solve this puzzle. A couple of more pieces needed and I will sew them all together, staple, and hope for the best.
