Walking by the Mototapu River

We had a wonderful walk by the Mototapu River.  It was mainly flat apart from the 119 steps that we walked down at the beginning of the walk, and up when we got back near the cars.  (An extra).   It was the first time that I have done this walk from the southern end of the track.

The extra is a photo taken from our lunch spot.  The snowy mountain is the ski field, Treble Cone.  It has been a very windy day, but not along the river, quite hot in fact.
