The Music Hall
Tonight, we went into Aberdeen to see Rip It Up.
Last year, there was a programme on the history of Scottish pop music, there was also an exhibition and a book.
Tonight, it was a concert on the same theme.
There was a “backing band” and various singers singing their own or other people’s songs.
Some of the songs covered were by Blue Nile, Teenage Fanclub, Aztec Camera and Simple Minds.
Some of the acts performing were Justin Currie from Del Amitri, Richard Jobson from The Skids and King Creosote.
It was a one off and it was brilliant.
