"Back to square 1." as they say.
As is frequently the case, not much to show for a day's driving; as a driver you can't shoot, as a passenger you're constrained by what you see flitting by.
There were a number of Rowans beside our pitch, most frequented by these, either around the base, on the tree itself, or both.
Most of today's few shots were a couple of ancient bridges, one or two roads, for comparison with what we'd been on and shots of these trees; either to show the fungi or the clarity of the air, as evinced by the amount of lichen festooning the trunks & branches.
