Camping in Engelberg

We were quite late setting off for an evening camping in Engelberg. Mr. S fixed a puncture on his best mountain bike and couldn't get the wheel back on. So 2 hours later, we were ready to set off. It was a warm and sunny day, but when we arrived at the campsite, we had already lost the sun at 3.30pm. We got the tent up, then went and explored around on the bikes. After long discussions with the locals, the best bet for dinner was at the restaurant "Ende der Welt" or end of the world at Horbis. Still totally 60^s decor, but really the best Hirschentrecote and Späzli I have ever eaten. Further exploration followed, then back to the campsite for a little whisky before an early star-filled night in my super snuggly sleeping bag.
