We went to the Mall of the Emirates today after ages! The purpose of being there was to watch Downton Abbey which was released here on Thursday. We joined Pam to watch it. The movie was entertaining but there were some cringe moments!

On the way back home, we stopped to look at a 2013 car with very low mileage. The owner (who is cabin crew) is selling it cheap and I wonder if it might be time to get a younger, more reliable car!

The week began well without the Sunday morning traffic chaos. Unfortunately, G has a cold and braved it today! She was able to leave earlier which was great.

And in a bizarre twist, the plant growth pellets that we bought last week have made the bougainvillaea on my balcony die! It's so bad!

PS. My extra is of the celebration of Saudi National Day. We happened to walk past this area at just the right time.
