5th!

I couldn’t accompany Emma for the classes she’d entered with Nelson and Jack this week, so her hubby went with her. According to herself, she didn’t ride well and received a verbal warning from both boys and even hubby asked her what she was doing!

However, it seems everyone was having a bad time and she was placed 6th and 12th with them ( to put that into context, there were 90 competitors in both classes ) and qualified for the finals held today.

Emma decided to let Jack off this year, he’s young so no need to rush him, so we just took Nelson today.

He had two classes and it’s best we forget the first, as he had a fence down but he perked up for the second class and managed 5th place!

To put that into perspective though, at settling up time, balancing the entry fees against the winnings, Emma still had to pay £70. This ‘game’ really is played for love!
