The Sun Bather
I was delighted to find more of the tiny little green tree frogs this morning during my outing to Huntley Meadows Park. In the past, I have only seen them sleeping, but today I found a couple who were wide awake and moving around. They are only ~ two inches long.
There is a hint of fall in the background colors, but certainly not in the weather. It was hot and muggy when I got there at 8 am, and by 10 am, the frogs were sleeping and I was quite a sad little sack and headed home. In addition to the frogs, there were lots of herons, Great Blues and Little Blues, Great White Egrets and Snowy Egrets, Red-headed woodpeckers, Killdeer and Sanderlings.
