The Big Day

We are in New Jersey today to be with my husband’s brother and his wife. Today is the wedding of their daughter, their only child.

As Sister-in-Law/Aunt I was enfolded into the personal grooming preparation of the Mother of the Bride, the Bride, and the Maid-of-Honor. With hairdressers and makeup artist present I witnessed the age old “ceremony” of beautification and preparation of the bride and bridal party for the sacred event of marriage.

My heart is smiling.
