There is a power in a Grand Union

Voted in the strike ballot. Obv it’s s secret ballot but we are tired of being screwed over pensions and pay. And days off are always welcome.

Very close game on Thursday lunchtime. Less close on Friday evening. It’s been a glorious week and this carried on for Saturday - AKA the last day of Summer. Spent the day outside, making the most of it.

Off for a run this morning. Hotter than it was supposed to be and ran faster than I intended. It was hard work! Managed a max heart rate of 180 (according to the probably inaccurate watch) which was exactly 4 times this morning’s resting heart rate...
