If The Pink Panther Sold Hot Dogs

After yesterday's drive there were plenty of photo opportunities going through Latsi via the coast road. So I took off on an early morning walk, with my 50mm + Pentax. I have at least 5 blip-worthy pics, but this one had the strangest feel out of them all. Though the "flip flop shot" in the extra brought a smile to me face. A hot hog made from concrete, held by Pink Panther himself, also made from the same urban stuff tower block are usually made from! And wrapped up in Christmas lights for the extra night time hunger magnetism by the roadside!

The walk back was somewhat a challenge as I emptied my water bottle and dripping with sweat upon arriving at the villa. Clocked in a good few steps though! The rest of the day was a lazy day by the pool. Though we had a slight scare as there was a blazing fire a couple of fields away. The owner was around doing his usual pool maintenance was so relaxed by it all that he told us not to worry as one of the locals would have seen the smoke a therefore ring the fire brigade, while giving us a whistling sound to imitate a fire engine! And we're thinking "but WE can see the fire, erm, right now!!!" Surely enough the firemen did turn up and dealt with it.

Tuttle Jnr, Paddy and myself went out for a meal at Chix Chox this evening whilst the two ladies stayed at the villa. The evening finished with cards at the villa.
