This is the End
Went over to Axel's to celebrate Kings' day again with some friends. Being the youngest one, I ended up under the table with a coat over my head. Don't ask, it's a tradition, not the coat part though that's because I couldn't physically fit under the table haha. We decided to practice some steel wool fire spinning before the actual session that's happening this thursday. It was hard to think of an inconspicuous place in Leamington where no one would call the police on a bunch of people throwing fire around. Ended up just going to a parking lot round the corner, fingers crossed. Surprisingly, no one even stopped to ask what we were doing. The locals must have a lot of faith in students...or they're just extremely apathetic.
It was a really good night apart from an unfortunate incident where Andy smacked himself with the burning wool on the neck, left a pretty bad burn. I think we all underestimated the danger in what we were doing. Props to him though for handling it so well considering the situation. We went back to Axel's for a chat that turned into desperately prolonging the night knowing that tomorrow term starts, which means work. We all came to the conclusion that university itself should just fuck off.
