Making the most of a spare hour.

Some of us went to see Ant Middleton at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh - his show “Mind Over Muscle” is on today, we booked tickets before Easter. I’m currently reading his book “First Man In.” Sniper. Soldier. Survivor. The show was not directly about this, but about his TV exploits and Everest adventures. The tickets and website advised of a 1.00pm start.... which upon arrival at the venue translated into 2.00pm.
So, with One Square at the Sheraton immediately across the road we thought for all of thirty seconds where should we go to eat and chat......! We’ve never been disappointed here; and it works well for me.

It was a bonny, warm afternoon as we walked east back to the car, along Princes Street and below the Castle etc. The buzz of the Festival has gone and we’re a way off the Festive period. Possibly the last 20 degree day of 2019.
