Sitcoms

Am I one of those people they make fun of on sitcoms...just because it's January 6th and "taking the tree down" isn't even on my agenda?

They get you all excited about Christmas, then all of the sudden, without warning, everyone just takes everything down and goes on about their business as if it never happened. Cold and calloused, if you ask me.

Until the sun comes up earlier, this is as good a night light as any. Besides, I was just getting into the swing of things and putting away the tree causes separation anxieties, so I'm just going to be gentle with myself.

Seriously, a month is not long enough to leave it up after all that work. It's not my fault they started decorating the stores in July and everyone else is tired of it.
