The final Baler Boab Blip 2019.....

A beautiful summers day . Not bad for the 3rd week of September. Mind you it’s supposed to all go pear shape tomorrow.
Went and brought the combine back up the road from the field. Might have mangled a couple of road signs with the header where the temporary road crossing is for the timber felling. They weren’t there when we took the combine down to the field . Gave them a flatten out and propped them back up- job done!
Started baling by 10am and had the 40 acres of barley straw done by lunch time, then went away and finished the oat straw by 3pm . Was getting baler with drawl symptoms by 3.30pm so went and helped the contractor bale up next door neighbours hay before the dampness comes down.
Even managed to hack my way through the lawn tonight which hasn’t been cut for about 6 weeks. Should have baled it for silage too !
