World Clean-up Day

Did you know that today was World Clean-up Day? I suspect not. I only knew because Greenpeace asked us to organise a clean up. Eight of us got together and cleared the area around the Dock. If this area isn't kept clear, the bottles, paper cups, fishing line and general litter all end up in the river.

Preston Town council provided us with bags and equipment. (Note: Preston Town Council, not Lancashire County Council). The local cafe invited us in for a free coffee.
