Grasshopper

We were on the last leg of our walk - heading down the hill along the edge of the hayfield - when The Husband stopped and showed me a hitchhiker he had just acquired. I took its photo - as you do - and then he said "I'll just let it keep riding there." A few steps later he said "Ouch. It bit me. Didn't really hurt." And then a few steps further "OW!!!! That hurt!! I'm putting it down now." The entire performance struck me as rather silly. So... Silly Saturday it is! I suppose the creature was just thinking it had landed on a particularly juicy bit of vegetation.
