Heatwave

I understand why all you Scots keep moaning about the weather, it got unpleasantly hot at times today and made taking photos really quite tricky with all that glaring sun.

So, Edinburgh hasn’t made it to the short list, Durham is coming in at no 2, don’t know how much they like being no two. That decided we spent some time visiting the city sights (Primark, 5Guys, all the essentials) then began our mammoth train journey home. The good news is all the delays counteracted by brisk walking has not impacted catching our final train. Also good news in delays, I should get some compo.

It’s been a grand few days, all that time with Daisy has been fab.
