Don't Jump!
My local train station has become notorious for suicides: eight in the last few weeks, and a vulnerable person rescued yesterday. It doesn't help that it's unmanned a lot of the time, hasn't seen a lick of paint in years, and has become a haven for drug dealers. Trained Network Rail staff and Samaritans are now patrolling the station. Touchingly, local people have been posting notes on the green opposite, encouraging people to give life another try.
