Food for Thought

This may look like a climate change march, or an anti-Brexit demonstration but it is actually part of the crowd attracted to the Stratford Food Festival that is being held this weekend.

Pete arrived for a visit this morning and we went into town to meet Ann. After a spot of lunch at Pret, where Tom came to join us, we took a walk down Bridge Street where the majority of the food and drink stalls where.

The good weather had brought the people out in droves, the stalls may not do so well tomorrow when rain is forecast.

We had a walk by the river, where a regatta was underway, then back home.

Later we had a flying visit from Andy and Emma, who are staying over prior to flying off again in the morning!  They went out and left us with Luna for a bit of dog sitting.

There is an overload of sport this weekend, Rugby World Cup from Japan, Laver Cup (tennis) from Geneva, Formula 1 from Singapore and Chelsea v Liverpool (Pete's team), thank goodness for TV recorders.
